Let Me Be Me
me and my clone
will have a good time
I’ll watch movies
she’ll wash the dishes
me fashion and grooming
she mopping and brooming
while I read shopping tags
she’ll carry my shopping bags
while I write poems
she pays the bills
she will be sick
but me fit and fine
one day she will die
forever I’ll survive
If that sounds mean
then let me be me
already have Ego and Id
Jekyll and Hyde in me

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: Clone Wars
“If you could clone yourself, how would you split up your responsibilities?”
wow! Good take on prompt.
Being mean never sounded so much meaningful..

In seeing these post: Clones= task doers For your bigger participation on what gives your life meaning. Wonderful post.

Thanks for your comments!! If I want my clone to be an actual task-doer for me, then I should make her/it do some intellectual work besides everyday home tasks I mentioned. But here I preferred to keep the brainy work for myself.
